Successful Engine Upgrade for an External Power Unit

In cooperation with our partner HJS Motoren, we successfully upgraded an existing CHP plant to an avus 500plus engine and brought the unit back live within a short timeframe.

The modernization delivers several technical benefits for the operator:

• Higher electrical efficiency with an output of 500 – 550 kW
• Reduced exhaust emissions
• Extended service life of key components
• Reduced thermal load on the SCR catalyst
