New production hall for heat pumps

January 13, 2026

The increasing demand for heat pumps in recent months has prompted 2G Energy to invest specifically in its own state-of-the-art production hall for heat pumps. Until now, heat pump production was integrated into the production of CHP plants – with the new hall, this area will now be consistently independent and further professionalized. The hall is located in Heek and has a total area of around 880 m² and thus offers sufficient capacity to meet the requirements of heat pump production.

In the future, the 32 different water/water heat pump modules will be manufactured in the new hall. 2G Energy impresses with its great technological flexibility: The modules are produced with four different refrigerants – R1234ze, R513A, R717 (ammonia), and R600a (isobutane). This allows the company to respond optimally to different project requirements and regulatory conditions.

The new production environment not only creates additional capacity, but also forms the basis for further growth in the heat pump segment. With this investment, 2G Energy is ideally positioned to continue to reliably meet the growing demand for high-quality heat pumps.
