Headventures Semi-finals at 2G Energy in Heek

Ten teams showcased their concepts at the Headventures semi-finals, held at the 2G Energy Campus in Heek. Their innovative solutions spanned a wide range of industries - from accelerating battery research and development to building intelligent memory systems for machines and streamlining documentation processes in the care sector.

Instead of selecting just 5 teams, the jury made an unexpected decision: 6 outstanding teams have been awarded €2,000 in initial funding and will advance to the next phase of the program.

"The quality of the talent and teams from the Euregio and across eight nations in this batch is truly outstanding," the jury shared.

All 10 teams delivered impressive pitches, presenting inventive solutions that they will continue to develop over the coming weeks: Sitefix AI, Smartex, Ensera, Yardvoice, Utiliq, LexOS, LumCert, Pflegio, Boomki, and SONA.

We also invited the participants on a guided tour of our production facility, offering them a behind-the-scenes look at our operations.
