Engine installation for a residential district in Cologne successfully executed under challenging logistical conditions.
The Sürther Feld district in Cologne, Germany, is powered by an efficient and future-oriented energy concept using the agenitor 406. This solution combines reliable heat generation with decentralized power production to create maximum efficiency for residents and operators alike.
Around 300 residential units are supplied with centrally generated heat for space heating and domestic hot water.
At the same time, electricity generated in parallel is fed directly into the upstream 0.4 kV distribution grid of RheinEnergie AG, supporting the local energy infrastructure and increasing overall system efficiency.
Key benefits of the project:
- Reliable and continuous energy supply
- High overall efficiency through combined heat and power generation
- Reduced transmission losses through local energy production
This project demonstrates that even under challenging logistical conditions, 2G Energy is fully capable of successfully delivering complex projects.
