Pflügl GmbH & Co. KG is a building services company that was founded in 1993 by Josef Pflügl in Reichertsheim. The company is a leader in the individual planning and implementation of building services and sanitary installations for residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The company's installation work includes new installations, renovation of old buildings, expansion and refurbishment, repair and inspection of heating, sanitary and ventilation systems.

The building services company from Gars am Inn works closely with a local joinery, which benefits from the advantages of the g-box 50plus. The waste heat from the g-box 50plus is used to ensure the energy supply for the company building. Additionally, the waste heat is used for operating the wood drying system. The joinery generates its own electricity with the help of the CHP system and is therefore much less reliant on electricity from the public grid. This saves the business enormous electricity costs. The g-box 50plus provides an electrical output of 50 kW and a thermal output of 104 kW. The system also achieves an electrical efficiency of 34.5 % and a thermal efficiency of 71.8 %. This in turn results in a high overall efficiency of 106.8 %.

“The waste heat from the CHP plant can be efficiently utilized to supply energy to the company’s building and operate the wood drying facility.”
