The factory acceptance testing of the new CHP plant, carried out in cooperation with our partner IWK Integrierte Wärme und Kraft AG for our client Schöntal Biogas in Switzerland, has been successfully completed. The plant consists of an avus 800b unit with an electrical output of 930 kW and a thermal output of 900 kW, which has been installed in a robust container.

The CHP plant is fueled by agricultural substrates and will produce 100% renewable energy for approximately 1,500 households, saving over 2,000 tons of CO2 in the process. This is roughly equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of approximately 1,600 passenger cars. We are proud to be able to make a further contribution to the implementation of the energy transition with this project.
