What the Nienhaus family has built over the past few decades is a true milestone for the energy transition. The Nienhaus family produces gas and operates a gas processing facility that includes CO₂ and LNG liquefaction, which is an electricity-intensive process.

The electricity required is generated from solar and wind power, as well as three CHP units. Leading the way are 2G CHP units (2 x avus 1000plus, each with an output of 1,035 kWel / 966 kWth).
