Simplot Foods, based in Bathurst, NSW, undertook a major capacity expansion, confronting the dual challenges of escalating energy demands and the need to reduce carbon emissions. Our Australian partner Evo Energy Technologies was commissioned to devise an innovative and energy-efficient solution, aligned with Simplot's commitment to sustainable development.

Simplot Foods, a major food manufacturer producing frozen and shelf-stable products for the retail and foodservice sectors, expanded its operations at the Bathurst site. To support this capacity increase while addressing growing energy demands and sustainability goals, our Australian partner Evo Energy Technologies delivered a 3 MW cogeneration system together with a Heat Recovery Steam Generator.

This high-efficiency system now provides reliable electricity, steam, and hot water for Simplot’s processing facility, reducing reliance on the grid. It is also biogas-ready, allowing for future integration of renewable fuels.
