The building services company Pflügl GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1993 by Josef Pflügl in Reichertsheim. The company is leading in the individual planning and implementation of building services and sanitary installations for residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The company's installation work includes new installations, renovation of old buildings, expansion and refurbishment, repair and inspection of heating, sanitary and ventilation systems.

The company uses a photovoltaic system for its power supply. In unfavorable weather conditions, when the photovoltaic system does not provide enough energy, the g-box 20 is used as a practical supplement. The heat generated by the CHP is distributed via district heating pipes and used to heat residential buildings while the electricity generated is used to operate the wood chip boilers in the heating plant. The combined heat and power (CHP) plant provides an electrical output of 20 kW and a thermal output of 44 kW.

“Thanks to the CHP unit, we can cover most of our electricity needs ourselves, making us far less dependent on the public power grid. It also helps us save significantly on electricity costs.”
