What exactly is 2G doing?
What do you think of when you hear the term "energy transition"?
Surely, windmills and large-scale photovoltaic systems are the first images that pop into your head - and they both actually are crucial elements of the energy transition. However, there is more to it.
The fact of the matter is that windmills do not produce any energy without wind and neither do solar panels without sunlight. The energy demand, however, remains the same - but how is it supposed to be satisfied?
That is exactly where 2G enters the equation. We manufacture so-called combined heat and power systems that produce eco-friendly heat and electricity – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The process behind it all is called combined heat and power production or cogeneration in short.
An energy transition without the combined production of heat and power would be simply unachievable. And since we can only stop climate change together – meaning through global efforts - there is a worldwide demand for our systems.
