Balance of Plant Systems that suit your needs

As a solution provider, we can fully integrate your balance of plant equipment with your 2G system.

Solutions That Fit Your Needs

2G Energy's continuous product enhancements through our vertically integrated manufacturing processes and research and development are examples of our commitment to quality, performance, and reliability. Constantly testing ourselves to ensure we deliver best-in-class products to our customers. A critical part of those product enhancements is our application engineering expertise as a total solution with our expansive balance of plant options. The right balance of plant equipment is critical to the CHP system's overall performance, efficiency, reliability, and availability.

2G Energy can offer both in-house designed, engineered, and manufactured subsystems as well as products from our trusted manufacturer/suppliers who work “hand in glove” with us to ensure proper integration and performance of the following balance of plant equipment:

2G Energy can offer best-in-class EGHx components that seamlessly integrate with our core system to convert thermal energy that can be used for pre-heating boilers, process steam for industrial manufacturing, facility heating and cooling, and many other uses.

For commercial, Industrial or enviromental purposes, we can offer TOHx equipment that recovers your useful heat to enhance efficiency and utilization.

We offer only the most reliable products that efficiently interface with our controls to provide critical cooling system management to maximize the efficiency of the CHP system and safeguard the system when heat does not need to be recovered.

2G Energy designs and manufactures a reliable treatment system with cooling and reheating as well as an activated carbon filter. Biogas is cooled to remove or reduce contaminants such as moisture, sulfur, and siloxanes.

2G Energy is a pioneer in fuel blending technology. Customers that want to operate our gas CHP generator on a combination of biogas and natural gas in a grid parallel mode of operation have the advantage of fuel flexibility on a system that can be operated at full load all the time.

2G Energy provides a variety of emission reduction technology. Air emission regulations are project-specific and we have solutions including EPA Certified systems, SCR, oxidation catalysts, and exhaust gas combustion systems.

This provides an enhanced total energy capability by producing chilled water for air conditioning or refrigeration from your waste heat. Critical infrastructure applications such as data centers, the food industry, and hospitals are major candidates for this technology.

Independence From the Utility Grid

A combined heat and power system can operate independent of the public grid in case of interuptions or outages.

With island mode operation integrated with your facility and switch gear, your 2G system can quickly react to ensure the electricity supply is available in case of interruptions or blackouts of the public grid.

Exhaust Gas Post-Treatment

The operation of a CHP produces exhaust gases. By integrating the technology of catalytic conversion into 2G systems, the pollutants that still have a minimal presence in the exhaust gas can be removed and relevant directives can be reliably complied with.

To reduce emissions, 2G utilizes an oxidation catalyst to reduce or eliminate CO's, VOC's, and other regulated gases through chemical reactions which convert or store unwanted byproducts to achieve reliable emissions standards.

The installation of an SCR is required in some air districts. This technology is focused on reducing nitrogen oxide emissions. With the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, nitrogen oxides are reduced when the admixture, urea, reacts with the catalyst, allowing 2G systems to meet the strictest exhaust gas emissions requirements.
