Enough energy for 1000 homes through CHP
Barwon Water’s Colac Water Reclamation Plant are utilising multiple 2G CHP units which use green gas from organic waste to produce electricity that is used for internal consumption and to support the local grid. Using high-strength organic waste, enough electricity is produced equivalent to powering more than 1000 homes.
